Summer break

I will be taking some time off from the blog over the summer, and will start back up mid August. I will still enter an entry or two, but not consistently. As most of you know, I will be homeschooling Camden and Riley this comming year and with summer vacation fast approaching I have not had a lot of time to commit to the blog. Camden is in T-ball and Riley has finished ballet, tap, and jazz for the season. She will start back up in September. Camden however has been VERY DEDICATED to the game of baseball. He prefers watching a game on tv rather than cartoons. He practices daily by throwing the ball up in the air and catching it, as well as hitting the ball off the tee. He even coerses Riely to play with him on occassion. She has recently expressed her interest in the game and will play catch with Camy if he throws her grounders. She will throw the ball back to him and there is 20 minutes of Mommy time!

Baseball with Mimi and Papi

My parents came to visit for a long weekend and so the love for baseball began. Camden had so much fun playing baseball with Papi and watching baseball on TV, learning all about the game. We havent stopped since. Riley on the other hand really enjoys soccer...her turn shall come.

Postcard From Maine

We are having a "ball" in Maine; Literally! We have played baseball everyday and even enjoyed an evening at the Portland Seadog's.

Playhouse Disney Live

The kids and I went to Playhouse Disney Live on Stage and although we were not allowed to use our camera during the show itself, I snapped a few before the show started. The kids had a blast dancing and joining in the hands on fun!

Playroom Sleepout

Here are more pictures that I wasnt sure if I posted...but when Kevin was gone a few weeks back the kids and I camped out in the Playroom for a couple of nights. We often change it up between playroom and living room. That was one of the best night sleeps I got too!
