Outdoor Fun!

The kids have not been too interested in going outside these days...maybe because it is still cold, or maybe because they are too interested in their legos and Barbies. Anyway, they dressed themselves, put on their shoes, hat, and vests, and told me that they wanted to go out and play. AWESOME! This is a video I captured of the two of them playing lacross...self taught of course! Since they played so nice today with each other, not one argument between them, and they cleaned their rooms (with the threat that I would throw their toys away) I do not mind that they are still outdoors. they are playing golf now, and occassionally they are swinging on the swing set. As it is 6:40pm, I am curious how long it will take for them to get hungry for dinner. I suppose a few more minutes wont hurt, then it will be dinner, showers, pjs and bed! I have had a great Saturday! Thank to my wonderful babies.

Back and in the swing of things

We are back from our trip to Florida and have gotten back into our routine once again. The weather is warming up so I am anxious for summer to come...I love the sunshine. March has brought many new experiences for the family; Camden and Riley started Tae Kwon Do and LOVE it, Camden raced his Pinewood Derby Car for the Lion Scouts and Won 1st for his Den and 2nd overall for the Pack. That means that he gets to go on and race his car for the regional Pinewood Derby Race on May 1st. Baseball sign ups were this past week and Camden will start April 19th...He has already been outside practicing throwing and catching (thanks to the warmer than normal weather for March). With all of the new activities added to our old ones, Kevin and I found this really great website to sink our calandars. www.cozi.com. I highly recommend you check it out...it is really easy and fun!
