Happy Earth Day 2009

Please remember to Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle!

Breakfast with Mimi and Papi

Camden and Riley had a pancake breakfast with Mimi and Papi in the kids learning room. No syrup on the floor either!!! Thank goodness we learned about manners and ettiquette a week ago.

Riley's Spa Weekend

Riley had fun when her Mimi came to visit this past weekend. Mimi brought a massage table and when I set it up, riley stripped down naked and wanted her back rubbed (how she knew the table was for a massage I was shocked and to get naked, where did she learn that from?!) Mimi gave Riley a 25 minute massage...must be NICE! Following the massage, Riley got her nails done with Mimi at the mall, followed by a hair cut; to include for the first time at a salon, her hair washed. She had so much fun.

Easter Weekend

This Easter was really fun! The Easter bunny found some great deals at KB toys when it was going out of business so he filled a tub with lots of art supplies, and out door fun (ie...jumprope, marbels). He also left lots of hidden easter eggs to find. Camden found the golden egg this year...I guess Easter Bunny better up his game next year.

Family outing

We went to Lowe's to participate in the Lowe's Kids Craft and took our neighbor Ryan with us. Afterwards we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. I thought this was a great picture of the gang working on a kids menu puzzle.

Tea Party

Riley hosted her first tea party. She served grahm, chocolates, and ginger tea. It was devine. This was a great opportunity to teach about manners and ettiquette...we had a nice afternoon. Thank you Auntie Sue and Jessica for the tea set.

Playhouse Disney

We went to Playhouse Disney Live on Stage, and the kids eyes lit up to see Mickey Mouse in person! I am thinking a Disney trip is in the works for the very near future!

Living Room "Camping"

The kids and I like to "camp out" in the living room every once in a while. We started this tradition when Daddy was on Navy Reserve Duty last spring; and now when he is gone we usually spend one night downstairs. So much FUN!

Fancy Nancy

Riley checked a "Fancy Nancy" book out at the Library, and after we read it together we had a fancy evening togher. We put on our "posh" dresses, and ate dinner on "crystal" plates. We gave each other makeup makeovers, and put bows in our hair. It was a fun evening.

Its Gardening Season again!

As most of you remember from last years posts, I started gardening and managed to grow quite a garden. So this year I started some of my seeds inside so that I can have an early crop as well as a mid-late summer crop. I am very excited...and have even extended my garden another 20 square feet. The kids had fun helping me plant the seeds and have faithfully been watering them everyday. We already have some seeds germinating and pushing through the soil. Gardening is so much FUN!

Riley's First Play Date (without Camden)

There is a park that I am not comfortable taking two kids too by myself, so I hardly ever go to it. Camden was home sick and so I was able to take Riley to the park for a playdate. She had so much fun with her best buds. Riley's favorite friend is Aiden, she is the one on the tire swing with Riley. The group shots are great too...the girls all had a ball on the tire swing, and it was really funny to watch. Jayden (being the only boy that day) was even pushing them at one point.

Swim and Gym

Camden has started Homeschool Swim and Gym at the YMCA. Here is a picture of him with his two buddies Jayden and Christian. Sorry the picture quality is so poor.
