Farmer Boy Days--Stone Mills

The kids had fun traveling back to the mid 1800's and experiencing life as a young master or mistress in this time period. They fed chickens, made bread, washed clothes, listened to music, went to school in a one room school house, and pumped/carried water from the windmill...We love Farmer Boy Days!!!

Fall

We have a nice routine this school year, but our biggest addition is that we now have a pet mouse and two goldfish. Camden and Riley won two fish at a fundraising benefit so off to the store to buy a tank we went. Then five days later we get a mouse for the school room. I prefer the mouse to the fish...although the fish are fun to watch. I have very busy teaching the kids, running them to scouts, gymnastics, violin, piano, dance, Nutcracker rehersal, and bible school, and I am attending PWOC, and have become an assistant scout leader for Camden's Tiger Scouts. We are hoping to go apple picking this Saturday, however with the on again off again rain I wont know until that morning. Hoping to make homemade applesauce and can it. I have also taken up knitting and am working hard at completing some Christmas crafts. I will post some of the finished projects when I have another moment. We are off to gymnastics...

Camp of the Woods Friday Afternoon--Bye Bye, we will miss you!
